San Juan, Puerto Rico - Social media superstar Jake Paul (5-0) put an exclamation point on his 2021 campaign with a highlight reel one-punch knockout of Tyron Woodley on December 18th in Tampa, Florida. The YouTube sensation had previously defeated Woodley by way of an eight round split decision in August.

I say Jake Paul should of won prospect of the year. Paul has a massive social-media following, hes a global-influencer, PPV star and arguably the face of boxing ; this all under 6 professional bouts.

Then you take into account that Paul's MVP promotions has already surpassed Dana White's Zuffa-Boxing, how did he not win?

They are getting all of this confused. He has boxing events, in no way they are serious match ups. They are picking and choosing non boxers with a name and use their size as an advantage. Don't see him doing to well in a real boxing match against any decent opponent.

Jake paul would lose to a 16 year old mike tyson. I was just watching one of his amateur fights the other day. Actually tyson hadnt fully developed his power yet. He was more raw but he had crazy speed, both defensively and offensively. He also didnt gas like paul.

And then theyre like oh well paul has only been "fighting" for 3-4 years. Um yeah and so was 16 year old mike tyson.

This. People still keep forgetting woodley was a wrestler. he was a marginally better striker than ben and more importantly he was picked because he looked the part, he looked muscular and intimidating for casuals. Ben and woodley were kicked out of the UFC for loosing too much, are wrestlers who fought Paul in a fight where they cant wrestle and he is 20 pounds heavier.

All this taught us was that aging UFC wrestlers will loose to an athletic guy in a boxing fight who has trained boxing for 3 years and that their striking skills they learned to get them by in the UFC arent good enough to box with someone who trained boxing for 3 years if they have reach, age advantages.

He seems to have decent ability but until he starts fighting boxers his size we'll never know . Not to mention he's to big for Light Heavyweight but to small for Crusierweight so he's fcked

Why is he carrying Jake's water? Is trying to get on the payroll?
