Unbeaten lightweight contender Frank Martin, who fights under Errol Spence Jr.'s Man Down Promotions banner, will square off against Romero Duno in a 10-round showdown that tops PBC action live on FOX and FOX Deportes Saturday, January 1 kicking off the New Year from Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

Pbc ridiculous ppv’s with crap undercards belong on Fox. Haymon getting greedy or desperate.

This is a Fox card with Fox crews just as the Thurman/Barrios PPV.

It’s not Haymon. They signed a new deal with Fox. The deal dictates how many PPV events Fox wants to stage per year. Seems like In this deal Fox wants 10-12 PPV events. PBC doesn’t have the roster to put on 10-12 PPV worthy events, so you’ll see events like this and Thurman-Barrios be on PPV going forward.

It's not PPV worthy but I'm going to get it. The price point isn't terrible, it's all HWs and with the cancellation of GGG/Murata I will be looking for some decent boxing action that weekend. Curious to see Ortiz in against someone who will actually try to win (other than Wilder).

Frank Martin is the only guy I care about seeing on this card and definitely not enough to pay to see him. I wonder why PBC isn't putting any hype behind him? I'm almost thinking they're worried he'll destroy tank so to protect there investment they're holding frank back. This guy has huge potential, but barely anybody even knows who he is

PBC EASILY has the roster to put on 10-12 ppvs per year but they’d have to be more willing to match their best fighters and more willing to work with other promotions.

I agree with the majority, not PPV worthy.

The entire card is blah besides the main event .

But instead of reading boxing scene or watch a live comment on you tube and sulk ,I’m not going to miss some fights on New Year’s Day . If it wasn’t some sort of holiday I’d probably not get this as any successful event only gives them more lever to do it more . I think the Martin vs Ortiz fight will be fireworks as long as it lasts ,could be short or a long fight ? It’s 40 dollars basically for a bland event overall and the best fight could be Coffee vs Rice but the winner doesn’t have a bright future in this sport so it’s still nothing to scream about .

Personally I look forward to the new Cobra Kai Netflix series on news years eve much more so I’m good .

                    meant “regular” Fox…non-ppv
