    Gennadiy Golovkin and Ryota Murata were due to fight on Dec. 29 at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan on DAZN. However, on Dec. 3, the previously announced fight had to be postponed due to Japan reinstating strict border restrictions around the recent Omicron coronavirus variant.

          Murata last fought at dec 2019. If he's fighting on April 2022 that's 2 yr and 4 months layoff.

            Reschedule this fight for Nevuary. Ggg barely has any time left in his career, fight charlo or Andrade already.

              Such a **** show. I know it's big money over there but it's not a good enough fight to be strung out for however long at this point. Move the **** on. Everyone in that division deserves to be stripped for doing jack **** about making the fights we actually want to see.

                    So Golovkin did nothing in 2021 and is going to start off 2022 with Murata? Yeah, that career is on it's last legs and going nowhere.
