TAMPA - Errol Spence will land another unification bout after all. Concerns about WBA "Super" welterweight titlist Yordenis Ugas being tied up with back-to-back mandatory title defenses were cleared up by the WBA, who delivered good news ahead of the festive holiday season. BoxingScene, com has confirmed that the WBA granted permission for Ugas move forward with plans for a three-belt welterweight title unification bout with Spence, who owns the IBF/WBC titles.

Seems Spencer is doing good after that super serious career ending eye injury.

Fighters have come back from said injury here is a case back in 1982 before modern medicine.

Let that hate in your heart go.

Salute to Stanionis! Good luck vs. Butaev! I hope it's on the same card? Ugas earned his shot, and the WBA did him dirty! Glad he gets the unification fight he deserves!

These fights make a whole lot more sense.

Wba needs to clear up 135 now and mandate "world" v "super"!

Crawford, Boots, Ortiz all available, Spence fought real hard to get Ugas instead.

For years the Spence fans suggesting everything was Crawford's fault. Well, Crawford fought a PBC guy first like you called for, and now he left Arum like you all wanted. But still Spence doesn't fight him. I can't think any other fighter who gets defended like Spence. When Canelo moves to a new weight, people say "why doesn't he fight the number 1 guy instantly instead of cherry picking?" but Spence has been in the same division his whole career and still only facing the 4th or 5th best guy at the weight.

Crawford finally fought a legit ww since moving up and is a prima-donna when it will come to negotiations with Spence thinking he the A-side, boots and Ortiz have no belts and just started fighting former champions….. Ugas wba super champion can make case for arguably 2nd best ww atm and coming off career defining win against legendary pac which will sell to the casuals, your argument makes no sense besides coming off as a Spence hater

I'm a hater because I want him to face the best for the first time in his 10 year career? Maybe I'm tired of all the excuses "gotta fight Mikey cause Mikey called him out, gonna fight the best after this though". Years later and still waiting. 3 great opponents ready to go, why didn't he offer any of them a fight? Why don't you want the best to fight each other? Makes no sense besides coming off as a boxing hater.

You guys love fights like Spence vs Mikey and Spence vs Danny because you know going in that he'd win. It's just a showcase. You also know he beats Ugas, but not sure he beats Crawford, so you want the Ugas fight.

Nobody is calling out Boots Ennis, not just Spence! Spence is the fighting for another title @ 147, so we really can't hate, just like we didn't hate on Canelo during his run @ 168! Now if Spence wins, and he STILL does not fight Bud for the "Undisputed," THEN we can start the hate! Matter of fact, i'll go first!

Crawford might as well fight Josh Taylor in the UK, or Vergil Ortiz Jr. in Dallas! Both BIG money fights!
