LAS VEGAS - Filip Hrgovic continues to beat on the opposition placed in front of him while on the hunt for far stiffer competition. The rising contender has now scored back-to-back third round knockouts over unbeaten heavyweights, the latest coming versus undefeated but overmatched Emir Ahmatovic. Hrgovic scored two knockdowns in round two and another in round three, the latter prompting an immediate stoppage at 0:30 of round three in their DAZN-televised bout Saturday evening at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

You know what? After having another look at this guy I’m thinking he will be exposed once he starts stepping up. He looks stiff and one dimensional. The ultra stiff standup European style worked for Klitschko, but Hrgovic would be a verrrrrry poor man’s Klitschko.

This could be a very nice match up for another up and comer wanting to crack the top ten, since Hrgovic now has a reputation as a feared guy who nobody wants to fight.

Too bad they all turned down a fight with Hrgovic. Would have made some exciting match ups. Hopefully he will fight Babic one day because that guy HATES him hahaha

Got caught with a few good left hooks, and better fighters could expose him. But was he fighting down to his opponents level, and will raise it against the better guys? Or does he have genuine flaws. We need to see him in proper tests.

            Hrgovic would have destroyed Hunter.

Babic seems to have more motivation to step up his game while Hrgovic stays with these Euro journeymen.

As time goes on, Hrgovic vs. Babic is starting to look like a very entertaining fight.

I want to see him fight Dillian Whyte or Murat Gassiev.

No more of this. Matchroom gotta spend some money on Hrgovic opponents.

How much money is the question. Having to over-spend on a decent opponent for a green Hrgovic is pretty ridiculous.

Hearn should try and make Hrgovic/Zhang.
