Five months after suffering a debatable defeat to Angelo Leo, Mexico's Alameda stopped countryman Angel Contreras after four rounds Saturday night at Park MGM's Dolby Live. A ringside physician instructed referee Celestino Ruiz to stop their 10-round featherweight fight because Contreras' left eye essentially was swollen shut.
