Could be good for Canelo to say it publicly, to give Garcia a kick up the arse and prove he can be dedicated. Maybe that’s what he’s trying to do.

But I think history tells us fighters who lack dedication but have talent never truly find the dedication and then become a wasted talent. Some temporarily do but then fall back into usual habits. I bet we could create a huge list of fighters that went down that route, it’s not uncommon in boxing.
