Hall of Fame promoter, Frank Warren, says they are waiting on a decision from the WBO before deciding Joe Joyce's next move. Warren announced on social media in July that Joyce became the WBO mandatory challenger and is on course for his maiden world heavyweight title shot.

Wishful thinking. Joshua-Usyk was the WBO mandatory so now it goes to the back of the queue, WBA, IBF get their mandatories first. It will be at least 2023 before a WBO mandatory is ordered.

Fury will fight Joyce as voluntary defense.

It's quite apparent that Joe has no intention of defending his British & Commonwealth title's, so why dosen't he do the honourable thing & relinquish? Thus giving someone else the oppertunity of fighting for them. He could of course defend against Joe Parker for the Commonwealth or maybe Hughie Fury for both belt's, but I really can't see it.

Yes, that's what I thought, and that's even without a unification, so Joyce has got quite a wait despite what Warren might say.
