The event's headlining act is two-division and reigning WBC junior lightweight titlist Oscar Valdez (29-0, 23KOs), who was recently flagged by VADA after testing positive for Phentermine in advance of his title defense versus Robson Conceciao (16-0, 8KOs).

According to the WBC, Dr. Margaret Goodman doesn’t have all the facts. Valdez didn’t fail his test that badly and he’s a nice guy.

Much respect, and salute Dr. Goodman! They report the results, if the WBC or whomever decides it's "tainted meat," or "herbal teas," and let the fights continue, please direct all anger and outrage at those folks, and not VADA! The so-called "Clean Boxing Program," is officially discredited!
