  • Comments Thread For: Hearn: Chris Arreola is Probably The Frontrunner For Dillian Whyte

Eddie Hearn, promoter for heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte, has named world title challenger Chris Arreola as the 'frontrunner' to face his boxer. Whyte, 33-years-old, was expected to fight in the United States in the fall - but is now going to return to the ring in the UK.

Chris is 40 and coming off two straight losses. He looked better than expected against Ruiz but this is still pretty bad.

I like Dillian Whyte but he needs to slow down with beating up senior citizens back to back.

      Povetkin (42) x 2, Wach (40), Chisora (36) x 2 and now another 40-yr old. It doesn’t look good for his resume.

He needs an easy fight but he can always pick a young easy target - not old men who would be blowing air up their arses after 3rds. All these guys are shot and Arreola only put up a fight against Ruiz due to their California Mexican gang rivalries.

What happened to the young American bum he wanted to fight?

Honestly, he looks like The Undertaker with how he keeps digging up corpses.

He needs an easy fight but this ain’t it. It’s not like it’s a mandatory - it’s a voluntary fight. Why not pick a young bum from where Fury digs them up from?

Whyte needs an easy fight and Martin isn’t an easy fight for anyone in the division.

Martin should be telling Al to do his job and make all the PBC heavies fight one another rather than digging up cans for them.

                  Martin vs Ortiz
                  Wilder vs Ruiz

Fkkin Arreola? 2 fights in over 2 years, lost them too. He hasn't put in terrible performances to be fair in those losses.. Its guna be an ugly and slow paced fight.

However before the Whyte/Match room/Hearn/UK haters start laying in on it I hope they take consideration to what they may of said when PBC fighters like Wilder or Kownacki or Ruiz were matched with him, we don't need no double standards now do we.
