No one was saying or acting like this but Ceja was clearly winning the fight and was ahead on the cards and gave it all away.

Also the Rigo stoppage was premature.

This was a great scrap. Ceja was ahead in the cards but Magsayo did a little bit of an adjustment after round 5. He got closer and tied Ceja up so he couldn’t get off stronger/couldn’t get off any body shots. That allowed Magsayo to get his second wind. This shows at the very least that he was thinking in there which is a good sign for him.

As for Ceja, he came in with a great strategy, he boxed better, he also had the power to KO Magsayo. Ceja boxed great and was composed throughout. The difference was that little adjustment Magsayo did to minimize the damage a bit to get that second wind.

Ceja is definitely farther along than Magsayo as far as boxing skills. But Mark is learning and he’s thinking in there. He also got up and showed heart. Which is a good sign. He just needs to be armed with good knowledge and better tools to utilize against better opponents. Overall great scrap, win or lose, both fighter showed tremendous skills.
