  • Comments Thread For: Wilder's Trainer: Whyte is Dangerous, But Being Front-Foot Heavy Makes Him Vulnerable

Malik Scott, the trainer of former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, views top-rated contender Dillian Whyte as a very dangerous opponent. Whyte and Wilder have been trading words for several years, as the British boxer has been waiting for a mandatory shot at the green and gold belt.

I don’t like Wilder but he would sleep Dillian whyte, dillian is too stationary, he squares up too much. That’s perfect recipe for wilders right hand

Wtf has Ortiz done to earn a big fight? His best win was Jennings, 6 years ago. Ruiz is good, but beating a 40 yo Arreola shouldn´t be a ticket to title fights.

Whyte sucks at leading, so does Wilder. Whyte's wants to trade hooks, while Wilder looks for an opportunity to land that big right hand.

Should be an interesting fight, Whyte seems to be extra sensitive to uppercuts and Wilder doesn't have one.

Anybody under 6,3 is vulnerable against Deontay? Dillian is 6,4. Make sure you know what you're talking about before making a fool out of yourself as per usual.

Being better technically is worse for you than if you were sloppy and easier to hit in AJ's case? Idiocy is very much one of Scott's strong points.

            Painful. It really is.

If Whyte is easy work I don’t see Wilder sending him a contract for fight like he did for the bums he fought, or is it just Eddie who needs to do all the work then send Wilder an offer? Malik is just a slick brother, all talk but not substance, when Fury destroys Wilder again I bet Wilder throws him too like he did to Mark.

The point scott was making was that while Whyte is 6'4, he deceptively doesn't fight 6'4 in order to make you think you're out of reach.

That wasn’t a ticket in the Arreola win ,his ticket was defeating AJ . He’s already been the unified champion.

Ortiz is just waiting for a final elimination bout to fall into his lap which the WBC will probably make happen . Ha
