Rematches from the amateurs usually interest me but this just feels like a mismatch in all honesty.

No reason this shouldn’t be Shakur v Valdez.

When pbc makes weak fights like this there are many posters killing it and lamenting how pbc never matches the best guys, bad for the sport, etc. etc. TR does it and they get a pass.

winner of this better fight the winner of shakur v herring. If not then maybe Bob will let my boy Navarette get a crack at Valdez.

With the third wave of Covid underway, I will be surprised if they don’t cancel this fight.

On a different note, Gabriel Flores Jr was scheduled on the Fury/Wilder 3 PPV main card but given the circumstances that’s no longer to be the case. I figure he would get a step up in opponent but evidently not. At 20 pro fights, how do you go from Jayson Velez to Luis Alberto Lopez

Funny part is both Valdez and Herring would both rather fight Valdez, than to fight each other!

Valdez needs a Gold Medalist on his resume. I think it will be challenging for Oscar tbh.
