WBA, WBO, IBF, WBC junior welterweight champion Josh Taylor is certainly motivated to become a two-division beltholder in the future. Taylor (18-0, 13 KOs) unified the entire junior welterweight division back in May, when he scored two knockdowns to pull off a twelve round unanimous decision over unbeaten Jose Ramirez.

Terence Crawford takes the WBO welterweight title with him. The PBC will blackball Josh Taylor like they have Crawford.

Makes no difference. The WBO will give him mandatory status at 147 just like Usyk got at heavyweight. So he gets his shot no matter what. And if Crawford jumps ship you can be sure Bob send Josh to try and retrieve that belt.

Fighting Crawford is not greatness. This has been the plan all along by TR, Crawford never had problems getting top opponents. His demands and self value has not let fights happen and this is typical being with TR.

I like Taylor's attitude when it comes to stuff like this -- he has taken on challenge after challenge and is still looking for more. Sadly, we don't see enough of this in boxing these days.

Taylor has room for improvement. Need to increase punch output including his combo...

Great to hear, wish more fighters had that desire and motivation to go after the true champ/belt holders in a division. No snatching belts from the likes of a Mario Barrios here....

Taylor against any of the top dogs at welter will make for a great fight and a 50/50 one at that.
