Top Rank didn't really have any fights for him so once he lost to Teixeira, he was in no man's land. Made sense for them to let him go.

He's already fought once since and won by KO he gassed himself out in the Teixeira fight. He got offered the Munguia fight and his manager turned it down resulting in him leaving RGBA because Garcia thought he had a good chance of beating Munguia which I agree.
