  • Comments Thread For: Billy Joe Saunders is 50-50 on Fighting Again, Does Not Rule Out Retirement

Former two division world champion Billy Joe Saunders is not ruling out the possibility of retirement - in the aftermath of last month's stoppage loss at the hands of Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. Before a crowd of over 70,000 at AT&T Stadium in Texas, Saunders was stopped after eight rounds - when his corner waved off the fight before the start of the ninth.

Saunders has been fond in the quoting what he says is a Gypsy maxim: "We’re not here to take part, we’re here to take over.'"

Sounds like he's going to take the first half of that and run with it.

Billy Hoe is human filth. Oooh yes God gave you two eyes, go out on your shield brotha, he said to Daniel Dubois, well low and behold, he quit himself. He was driving a few days later on IG with NO signs of any damage on his face. All that BS about his orbital bones being broken was hogwash. Eddie the snake Hearn sold us that too.
        He is England's Broner.

Let them fight each other, the sloppy Broner might have ballooned to super middleweight by now anyway.

Some of these boxers make me sick.

This guy has been bordering on retirement for years. Hasn’t had more than two fights per calendar year since 2013. That’s why he was selected as an opponent, he’s never been dedicated to the sport and there was no way he was going to be able to just turn it on for a big fight against a top fighter. He belongs with the uk domestic level talent and not on the world stage. Similar to the smiths and fielding.

Chris Eubank Jr, Danny Jacobs, GGG, Charlo... but mainly Chris Eubank Jr. There is huge public demand for the rematch - the two absolutely hate each other, there's been a lot of back and forth between them on social media over the years and the buld up to the fight would be epic.

No surprises. Haven’t respected him since he publicly said he couldn’t beat golovkin and didn’t wanna fight him years back.

he got his check now it’s all downhill from here.
