Hes a 23 year old prospect who went in there with a guy who would be a serious problem for most of the top 10.

Who was hyping him though? No-one thought he was gonna be a killer, and the general consensus going into the Joyce fight was that IF he gets through that, maybe we can start talking about the big fights, but low and behold juggernauts iron jab broke his face which will probably happen to a lot of guys on dubois level as Joyce is pretty fkn good, just look at his performance against usyk in the amateur's, it was a loss but usyk knew he was in a fight there and he could really feel the power in his punches, and he hasn't looked as troubled since the first 2 rounds of the bellew fight when bellew inexplicably boxed his ears off.. Anyone with a small level of boxing knowledge knew dubois wouldn't get to the very top and you're post just comes off as anti British more than anything, so many of those posts on here these days since fury and AJ became the top two hw's

They don't need to rush the rematch, that fight was a good lesson for DDD as he was flatlining all the bums that was put in front of him, he needs in between fights at 23 not someone like JJ who has both amateur and pro pedigree.

Yeah he is the alcoholic guy in Joseph Parker's camp . He hates anything British, can't get over the fact that Whyte (His best trigger word) beats Parker. Lucky for him he isn't crying about how Parker got the nod against Chisora in a fight that most people think he lost.

DDD had the chance to beat Joyce but he just isn't on the same level. DDD had been fed a diet of stiffs, when he had to face a genuine contender he blew it.
There was a big hype job done on DDD about how dangerous he is, and how he would give any of the top ten major problems......That hype balloon was soon popped.

And was winning on the cards despite having a terrible eye injury.

15 Pro fights behind him and he's fighting at that level. Maybe when people talk about 'UK hype jobs' they forget that it is possible to take a tough fight within your first 20 outings.

23 years old and gaining in experience. If the eye is right, he's still very much in the mix over the next 10 years.

Yeah, no need to rush him, but he has better future than Ajagba, Yoka IMO; he is much younger.

He will be very experienced by 27.
