Respectfully, Diaz is talking nonsense. A fighter doesn't need to lose in order to get better.

Marciano never lost. Mayweather and Calzaghe retired officially undefeated, although we can debate over those records.

What is true is there are a number of fighters today that have inflated, unbeaten records but they haven't beaten anyone of note. It's who you beat more than whether you have 0 losses.
