Man, i like Andrade a ton. Dude has so much skills, but canelo is right. Its a shame only hard core fans know who Andrade is. Kinda his fualt tho. Should've taken the fight with Charlo a few years back. If he would've won that, he'd be in a much bettet position right now.

He also just came off a fight in Yidilgrim that lost his previous fight, never beat anyone and hadn’t fought in two years. So what exactly is the criteria that “earns” you a canelo fight?

It’s called luck Yiridim was Mando and Billy Hoe had the 168 strap if Andrade had the 168 title Canelo probably would of fought him….. If I remember he tried to fight Andrade but it was DAZN that nixed it. I thought there was a story on that.

Andrade obviously just isn't getting the big fights at 160. He should take one more fight, either a fight that will get him more notoriety with a win or a guy that he can clearly KO. I think you see if Munguia or Eubank will get in there with you, those would be legit big wins for him if he can pull it off and raise his stock. If those guys don't want it, you go with a surefire win against a Danny Dignum, Tyler Howard, Denis Radovan etc. and then go up to 168 and enforce your mandatory status ahead of Zach Parker and either force Canelo to fight you or vacate.
