Canelo Alvarez is universally considered the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. In some instances, pundits and publications alike have slightly discredited Alvarez's resume and haven't listed him in the No. 1 position.

The best fighters on the planet unanimously point to Terrance Crawford as the P4P king. Case closed

Weird, All of the Canelo groupies on here claim Inoue is a "Jap Bum who hasn't fought anyone"

Do they really say that? They need to put respect on Inoue’s name. His resumè is impressive and the manner in which he beats his opponents is just as impressive.

              Yes, lets be very honest.

In context...Crawford was implying that Canelo doesn't fight a lot of slick complete fighters that are very often Black. That said first on your list is Lara but he's actually Cubin. White people think he's black because they often lump everyone dark skined into one group. Trout is a mid level fighter with one good win over a faded Cotto. Kirkland is a punching bag that gets KOed by every top 10 JR middle and Middle weight. But hey, they do have dark skin so I'll give you that. Since we are being honest it should be said that both times Canelo actually fought a prime, complete, sharp fighter ( that happen to be black) he had problems.... and hasn't fought another since.

As for Crarford's competition... Keith and Garcia demanded 10 million, Manny wants 40 and Spence doesn't want the fight at any price. Just sayn, you can't force an opponent to into the ring that doesn't want to fight.

Yeah, once he started getting P4P talk, they got super insecure. A lot of people like to throw around that he "went life and death with Donaire" like going 12 rounds with a HOFer is a detriment.

Great list from Canelo, himself, Crawford, and Inoue are top 3 on my list. One fight is one fight, but Lopez's win over Lomachenko was win of the year.
