I think that Eubank's problem is that he's seen as an arrogant douchebag. The UK audience doesn't seem to like him.
And btw - he had his chance to fight GGG, he chose to not sign.

Me too, although the Golovkin "then" and the Golovkin "now" are not the same!

I can only speak personally, I just don't think of CEJ at all. His Dad could be a nasty piece of work but his dad had natural competition with Michael Watson, Nigel Benn & Steve Collins. CEJ got fairly rinsed by BJS & there isn't really anyone else. I guess 'Gorilla' Ryder would sell tickets if either he'd go down to 160 or CEJ would step back up to 168 but otherwise it looks dead domestically.

I’m hope at some point Chris does score a fight with an elite fighter.

Also I hope the casinos get it wrong. I will be their huckleberry.

I could be wrong but I haven’t seen anything from Chris to make me feel he could beat the elite.

he's entertaining, he's different, he has a fan friendly boxing style
his problem is that his dad was too weird and controlling his career whilst he was loyal and didn't want to get rid of his dad.

even eddie's acknowledged that he never had a problem with jr, just that his dad was difficult to deal.

Should rematch BJS. First fight could've gone either way. Would be interesting to see how the fight would go now. It would probably have to be at 168 though as I doubt Saunders can make 160 anymore

At this stage Eubank doesn't deserve a title shot but with Hearn sticking in such titles as the IBO you can be sure he'll get a shot with some one. This fight proves Jr. has got fast hands and is above domestic level but he gets tagged too easy as in this fight and if that was inactivity then he's to blame as others have found a way to keep going. I 'd like him to follow up and keep active as at 31 he's no kid anymore but if he can do it , like him or not ,good luck to him but less of the mouth as he hasn't proven much so far.
