  • Comments Thread For: Sebastian Fundora Stops Jorge Cota in Fourth of WBC Eliminator

It didn't last long, but Sebastian Fundora and Jorge Cota produced the "war" they promised Saturday night. The 6-feet-6 Fundora and Cota began hammering away at each other as soon as their scheduled 12-round, 154-pound fight started at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California. The taller, longer Fundora eventually wore down the courageous Cota, hurt him with punishing punches and stopped him in the fourth round.

Fundora has no jab, no defense, and quite brainless really and is a train wreck waiting to happen. But it will be fun saying TIMBER when he gets starched cold some day while his hands are down by his knees. What a dumb slugger.

Fundora was peppering him up but that was an early stoppage

Is anyone surprised? If this fight was on basic cable television on Tuesday, I'd be interested. Not as part of a PPV.

The stoppage was definitely premature as Cota literally landed an overhand right as the ref stepped in.
