For the second time in as many weeks, Jaime Munguia has lost an opponent due to injury. This time, it has left him without an April fight date. An elbow injury suffered by D'Mitrius Ballard has forced Golden Boy Promotions to postpone plans for Munguia's next fight. The two were due to collide April 23 at Don Haskins Center in El Paso, but with the latest setback coming too late in the promotion to secure a sufficient replacement.

Something smells rotten... I wouldn’t put it past Hearn if he paid off both Sulecki and Ballard to fake and injury just to screw Golden Boy off their date. Also, considering this is Munguia last fight on his Golden Boy contract what better way than making Oscar and co. look bad in Munguia’s eyes than canceling his fight date at the last moment. Remember DAZN and Hearn colluded on stealing Canelo away from Golden Boy when they defaulted on his contract.
