"A FIT AND FOCUSED bjs CAUSES cANELO PROBLEMS

Haha Always laugh at that narrative

Where did this elite BJS crap come from?

A win over a c plus level plodder like Lemieux?

This guy scrapes out decisions over mediocre opponents time and again and yet gets all this praise heaped on his elite boxing abilities

"He fights to the level of his opponents that's why"

Yeah, well real elite fighters don't. They beat them comprehensively lol

Exactly. Every highlight of BJS comes from that fight. Lemieux is a murderous puncher if he can land, but he was never an elite fighter.

The same guy who won't fight high risk low reward Demetrius Andrade but will fight a guy that been running just like he has would beat 36 Y.O. Floyd but you ran from 27-present day Andrade?

Just imagine if this was 23 Y.O. Floyd..

Bjs just needs his jab and keep moving. Even if the ring isn't as big as when bjs fought saunders he can still beat (but still get robbed) canelo.

BJ saunders is quite skilled. This will be his real test. You can be so good, but if you are not motivated, you will not perform well against anyone. Hopefully this fight brings out the best of him so that we can be entertained. I won't be a negative nancy here and say that BJ is not up for it because I have seen the way he box. He has that boxing IQ to hang with the elites, and I highly doubt he is just going to go in there and lay an egg like canelo's previous opponents.

Saunders downfall will be the fact that he’s been inactive. He hasn’t fought more than twice in any calendar year since 2013. As far as this great canelo improvement since the mayweather fight, it’s overstated. He’s always looked impressive vs flat footed fighters with limited boxing skills, from baldomir, to cintron to Angulo to Kirkland to fielding to smith. He’s never looked overly impressive vs guys who actually have foot movement and or work the jab a lot like Floyd, trout , Lara, and even Cotto. Obviously canelo didn’t get a convincing win over ggg who had limited foot movement but was very skilled with his jab.

Why do these biased writers keep saying that Floyd beat Caenlo easily?? He confused Canelo, Canelo besides being weight drained and using the gloves Floyd wanted him to use, was never hurt and got frustrated due to his inexperience with slick, cheating, hugging, running, potshotting, Afro fighters. There was no rematch for a reason. Once Canelo learned how slick, cheating, hugging, running, potshotting Afro fighters fought, Floyd never gave him a rematch.

Andrade has never fought at 168 so why would Canelo fight him?

Andrade hasnt really done anything at all career-wise so I dont get why ppl say hes some Boogeyman
