  • Comments Thread For: Hearn: Estrada Has Mandatory Due With Rungvisai, But Whole World Wants 3rd Chocolatito Fight

Eddie Hearn admits he felt "like a fanboy" watching Juan Francisco Estrada and Roman Gonzalez go at it Saturday night at American Airlines Center in Dallas. The British promoter considers their thrilling rematch the best fight he has ever witnessed live. That's why Hearn, who is Estrada's co-promoter, wants nothing more than to arrange their rubber match for later this year.

It's not that difficult, surely? Give Rungvisai his mandatory shot as soon as is feasible -- say in 4 months' time, so July time. Then line up the Chocolatito rematch for Christmas. Yes, Estrada could lose his titles, but the trilogy fight will still have lustre.

      This is the correct answer.

But...all of them...Hearn, Choco and Estrada, all know that Srisaket sparks Estrada before the 12th. Which derails interest in Estrada/Choco 3.

Thats why everyone is telling Estrada to duck Srisaket.

But that's the risk you take with mandatories.

Besides, if Estrada is that good, he'll pull it out and Srisaket is no longer a problem.

But he needs to deal with his mandatory.

How much would step aside money be for Sor?

Sor v Cuadras for vacant WBC.

I think Estrada should vacate the WBC title. Ssr can fight the #2 ranked Cuadras and the boxing fans get the fight we really want to see and that's the third fight between Gonzales vs Estrada. Winner unifies the WBA and WBC titles against Ssr or Cuadras. No duck. Just better business.

No let them fight. The Chocolito rematch can wait. Roman Gonzalez would still be there.

And I'm fairly certain you were one calling Canelo a ducker for dropping the WBC instead of fighting Golovkin.

                What changed, bro?

Hearn is a sickening hypocrite calling for fighters to honour their mandatories when it suits and dump belts when it don't .A real shytster.

I think the match ups to be made are bigger than the belts in all honesty!
