The trimmed down EC Boxing will stage their first show of 2021 on March 13 at the gym in Hamburg. On top of the small show is heavyweight Ali Eren Demirezen (13-1) who is in against Jacek Krzysztof Piatek (11-0) with the vacant WBO European title at stake. Don't let the records fool you as this should be an easy win for Demirezen vs his 47-year old opponent. Also on the bill is heavyweight prospect Viktor Faust (5-0), heavyweight Michael Wallisch (18-4) and super lightweight Volkan Gokcek (4-0).

Very disappointed Matchroom never pulled the trigger on Johnson vs Buatsi. Felt that would have been a cracking fight.
