Press Release - Starfight Productions, Inc. returns with another installment of “Fight Night at The Pavilion” on May 9, 2008 at the A La Carte Event Pavilion, Tampa Florida. The main event features resurgent junior welterweight Derrick Samuels (14-3-1, 3KO) in an eight-round bout against an opponent to be announced shortly.
Samuels is coming off of five consecutive victories, including a 3rd round knockout win over Corey Peterson earlier this year in his most impressive performance to date. Known for his lighting quick reflexes and hand speed, Samuels is rapidly emerging as a major force in the junior welterweight division and looks to continue his winning ways on May 9th.
