Jean-Francois Bergeron has plans to travel straight on to the famous Oktoberfest if he can beat Nikolai Valuev in Oldenburg on September 29. The unbeaten Canadian (27-0, 19 KOs) is determined to spoil the Russian Giantīs comeback after Ruslan Chagaev deprived him of his WBA belt back in April. Bergeron is convinced he will defeat the tallest and biggest ex-champion of all time, and he is speaking from experience. "I once fought a guy that was seven foot tall, Marcellus Brown (TKO 3), but he wasn't as big as Valuev," Bergeron stated. "We did pads on a stool several times to get used to punching higher."
