MSG will premiere the new original documentary "Mecca of Boxing" on Sunday, June 24 at 9:00 p.m. The one-hour special will look back at the countless heavyweight championships, world title bouts and epic boxing matches held at the Garden since the late 1800s. From John L. Sullivan winning the first heavyweight championship, to Marciano vs. Louis in 1951, to what many refer to as the ‘fight of the century’ Ali vs. Frazier in 1971, the Garden has been an integral part of the legacy of professional boxing in the United States.
