New York, New York – The Velasquez Twins got their pro boxing careers off to spectacular starts last night in the Big Apple. The ballyhooed brothers from Puerto Rico, who combined to win over 100 amateur fights, both won their featherweight pro debuts. Juan Carlos Velasquez (1-0,KO1) landed a crushing combination of jabs to knockout Stephan Arnold in the first round of a card at the Roseland Theatre. And Carlos Ivan Velasquez (1-0) relentlessly out punched and outscored Manuel Angulo to win his four-round bout in a unanimous decision.
