    Good article, didn't Saldivar also return to the ring after he had originally retired I remember reading this awhile back.

      Did you know that the reason Winstone was let down by the lack of a knockout punch was that whilst working in the local Tri-ang Toys factory in Merthyr Tydfil as a young man, he got his hand caught in a press which cut off the middle fingers of his right hand and therefore lost him the ability to create a fist in order to send over a solid punch.Oh what a fighter he might have been! By the way I lived 300 yards up the road from him.His manager/mentor/trainer Eddie Thomas also from Merthyr went on to take the Scotsman Ken Buchanan to the World Lightweight title.
