Two years ago, Floyd Mayweather and Jake Paul were involved in a viral scuffle between their respective teams - which began when Paul, during a face to face with Mayweather, grabbed the hat off the Hall of Famer's head and tried to run.

The incident took place in May of 2021, during a press conference to promote Mayweather's exhibition fight with Paul's older brother Logan Paul.

On Wednesday night in Miami, they came face to face for a second time when Mayweather confronted Paul after the Heat finished playing.

Some words were exchanged, and Paul, who felt threatened by Mayweather's large incoming entourage, fled the scene.

The entire incident was caught on video, with the footage first appearing on TMZ.

Paul later took to social media to explain what happened.

"So I'm leaving the Miami Heat game and Floyd Mayweather and 50 dudes pull up out of nowhere, out of like some side alley, waiting for me outside the stadium, and they're like, 'So what's up? what's all that talk now?," Paul stated.

"I'm like first of all, what did I say to you Floyd? I just took your hat and you're still mad about it? Come on, bro. And then 50 dudes literally start surrounding me to jump me, and I'm out that bitch, ok?

"You wanna run it one on one, no problem. But I'm not dumb. Okay? I'm tough, I don't need to prove my toughness., but I'm not f------- dumb. I'm not gonna sit there and try to fight 50 dudes."

Paul is coming off the first loss of his career, which came by way of split decision last month at the hands of Tommy Fury.

Mayweather, who retired from boxing in 2017, also saw action last month when he took part in an exhibition fight in the UK.
