Serdar Avci staged a decent show in Istanbul, Turkey. In the main event, former cruiserweight world champion Firat Arslan (44-8-2) won the GBU title by second round stoppage against Pascal Ndomba (23-9-2).

The 48 year old Turkish-German fighter still keeps his hopes alive to get a world title shot.

"My aim is to be the oldest world champion in the cruiserweight division history," said Arslan.

EBU EE super middleweight champion Emre Cukur (12-0-0) picked up a unanimous decision win over Georgian opponent Giorgi Beroshvili (30-28-3).

Cukur used his hooks effectively, to get a clear win and retained his belt.

Mexican-Turkish contender Tar?k Sozer (6-0) gave a Mexican style show to his Turkish audience. The 20 year old lightweight won against Dato Kvaratskhelia by third round stoppage(14-18-0). He was impressive with his aggressive boxing and body shots.

Amateur European and World Champion, Youth Olympic silver medalist Salman Kartal (Alizade) - who represented Azerbaijan in amateurs- fought on behalf of Turkey and won by early knockout against Gagi Edisherashvili (15-8-0). Kartal stopped the Georgian by body shot.

Beijing Olympian and 2011 European bronze medalist Furkan Ulas Memis made his debut and won easily. Memis is well known with his victory over Luke Campbell in the European circuit. Seren Ay Cetin got his fourth straight win against  Tamar Nazarashvili by third round TKO.
