Fiodor Lapin will be the head coach of Albert Sosnowski in his preparations for the biggest fight of his life against WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko. Lapin is best known as a trainer of former cruiserweight world champion Krzysztof Wlodarczyk and current IBF #1 welterweight Rafal Jackiewicz. In fact, Wlodarczyk currently is also preparing for another title shot in his career against Giacobe Fragomeni and he is sharing the training camp with Sosnowski.

“They both have great influence on each other.” – said Lapin. “Wlodarczyk has more experience at the championship level which Albert is still lacking. On the other hand, Sosnowski got that inside fire that hunger for success which I couldn’t see in Wlodarczyk sometimes. They complement one another.”

Sosnowski’s and Wlodarczyk’s bouts are only two weeks apart from each other. Wlodarczyk is taking on Giacobe Fragomeni on May 15th in Lodz, Poland whereas Albert Sosnowski will try to beat the odds and defeat great Vitali Klitschko on May 29th in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
