It has been known for several weeks that heavyweight Filip Hrgovic (9-0, 7 KO), one of the most interesting prospects in his division, will have his next fight on December 7 in Saudi Arabia, as part of the undercard to the highly anticipated Andy Ruiz-Anthony Joshua rematch.

In an interview with Croatian media, "El Animal" revealed that he would face the experienced Erik Molina (27-5, 19 KO). "Drummer Boy" has already completed a penalty of suspension for doping and in February of this year he defeated Nick Guivas.

For Hrgovic this will be the third fight this year. Earlier in the year he defeated both Gregory Corbin and Mario Heredia.

IN OTHER NEWS: Cruiserweight contender Mateusz Masternak (41-5, 28 KOs) recently surprised everyone when he decided to suspend his professional career, in order to accomplish his dream of an Olympic medal. The goal of Masternak is to qualify for the upcoming Summer Olympic Games and fight in Japan for the highest laurels.

"Trying to fight in the Olympic Games has been my dream since I started training to box. I quickly switched to the professionals and the subject was broken. In my professional career there is stagnation and I thought it would the last chance to try my hand to make the Olympic team," says Masternak in an interview with TVP Sport.

"For me, the Olympic medal is much more valuable than the belt of a professional world champion, where in one weight category there can be twelve champions. A medal in Tokyo would be the fulfillment of my sporting dreams

In November, Masternak is scheduled to start in the Polish championships.
