Former WBA 160 and 168 lb champ Felix Sturm have been rumored to come back for a long time now but now finally it appears that the comeback is on. Sturm have announced on social media that he is coming back.

Adnan Catic as his real name is, was last seen winning a disputed decision over Fjodor Chudinov in February 2016. Then came allegations of a positive doping test and Sturm complained about various wrongdoings during the test procedure. Furthermore the ex-champ also says he´s proven his innocence and is ready to resume his career.

Sturm turns 40 January 31 and is 40-5-3-1. According to Sarajevo Times fight #50 will be against another former champ in Arthur Abraham - when and where is to be announced..

Bantamweights Prince Patel, 17-0-1, and Ronald Ramos clash for the vacant WBFed and UBO titles January 13 at Morrison´s Pub in Budapest,with Feja Promotions as promoter. Patel, from the UK, has had his last 13 fights in Hungary and Latvia mainly against not so tough opponents. In Ramos, from Colombia, he takes on a veteran with a 41-17-4 record.

Troja Boxing Group stage a big show at the classic C-Club in Berlin topped by four title fights. Middleweight Michael Schubov, 16-8, defends the GBC I/C title against Lelito Lopez, 5-0-1 and lightheavy prospect Jamny Kumande, 5-0, returns after a year out and takes on Vlastislav Cepo, 6-0, with the vacant German (GBA) Int´l title at stake. Lightweight Nico Venetis, 19-0, defends the GBC Youth title against Beka Lazarashvili, 9-7-0, and finally 52-year old middleweight Adnan Oezcoban, 10-14-2, face 45 year old Robert Larsen, 3-3-1, in a rematch with the German (GBA) title.

Croatian heavyweight Petar Milas 13-0,, finally have a co-challenger for the vacant EU title and that is former French champ Cyril Leonet, 15-10-3. The EBU have set January 23 as deadline for purse bids or agreements.

EU super welterweight champ Jordy Weiss, 21-0, tunes up February 8 in St Nazaire (France) with an eight rounder against an opponent to be announced.
