Allianz Cloud in Milan, Italy - Fabio Turchi (19-1, 13 KOs), ranked in the top ten by the IBF, picked up a twelve round unanimous decision over previously unbeaten Dylan Bregeon (11-1-1, 3 KOs) to capture the vacant European Union cruiserweight title.

It was a tough fight for Turchi. Bregeon boxed very well in the first half of the contest, which forced Turchi to pick up the pace and rally down the stretch in the second half.

All three of the official judges saw it 115-113.

In a battle of undefeated super middleweight prospects, Ivan Zucco (13-0, 11 KOs) broke down and stopped Luca Capuano (11-1, 2 KOs) in six rounds.

Capuano had enough after six and decided to call it a day.

The victory gave Zucco the vacant Italian super middleweight title.

Lightweight contender Francesco Patera (24-3, 8 KOs) had a tougher than expected outing, as he won an eight round unanimous decision over late replacement Nicola Henchiri (9-4-2, 0 KOs).

The official scores did not reflect the close nature of the fight, with tallies of 79-74, 78-74 and 78-74.

Henchiri came in as a late replacement for Vladislav Melnyk. Patera and Melnyk were initially scheduled to fight for the WBC silver title - but the contest was changed when a member of Melnyk's team tested positive for Covid-19.
