Super middleweights Evgeny Shvedenko, IBF #3, and William Scull, IBF #10, are the two highest available challengers In the IBF ratings and has been ordered by the sanctioning body to participate in an eliminator to determine the #1 challenger.

Shvdenko has twice been set to take on Caleb Traux in an IBF eliminator but Traux has twice pulled out and is now replaced by Scull.

Both men fight out of Germany but Shvedenko (15-0) is with Facher Sports in Karlsruhe while Scull (18-0) is based in Berlin with AGON Sports - and both promoters are represented by Hagen Doering.

Moroccan super featherweight Moussa Gholam (18-0) faces a big test when he takes on former world champ Tomas Rojas (52-19-1) February 27 in Barcelona, Spain.

The 41-year old Mexican is still a handful and while he is 3-3 since 2019 it's been against good opponents.

The event is promoted by Gallego Prada.

While Felix Cash is the mandatory challenger for EBU middleweight champ Matteo Signani, the fight won't happen any time soon.

Instead, the 42-year old Signani (31-5-3) will make a voluntary defense of the title on March 18 in Massy, France, against Anderson Prestot (24-2) with EuroProm as promoter. On paper it looks like a tough fight for the champion.
