As widely expected, 25-year-old Argentina warrior girl Evelin Nazarena "La Princesita" Bermudez (15-0-1, 5 KO's) knocked out, in only three chapters, veteran challenger Yaditza "La Tigrilla" Pérez (14-14-1, 6 KO's) for a successful 4th defense her IBF minimumweight (108 pounds) world title on Friday, January 7, in Santa Fe, Argentina.

Way too superior of a fighter, "La Princesita" Bermudez overwhelming Perez from the get-go with all types of mean, crushing blows, especially her left hooks and straight rights to the head for which the absorbing 36-year-old challenger had no counter measures.

The end unfolded when the corner of the dizzy, overpowered Perez threw in the white towel, halting the uneven battle to hand Bermudez an impressive, fast 'n furious round three TKO win.

It was a great start to the new year for the aggressive, coming-forward Bermudez - who wants to make many more world title defenses as soon as possible and against tougher foes.

"La Princesita's" devastating win was seen live in Latin America on Canal TyC Sports from the full-packed Complejo Multifuncion in Perez, Santa Fe, Argentina.
