23-year-old prospect Evan Holyfield (4-0), who is the son of Hall of Fame heavyweight great Evander Holyfield, is confident his father will defeat Mike Tyson in a trilogy fight.

Holyfield, 58-years-old, has been calling for a third fight with Tyson, who recently made a big impact with his comeback.

Tyson, a former undisputed heavyweight champion, retired from the sport in 2005.

The 54-year-old Tyson returned to the ring last month, when he took part in an eight round exhibition bout with former four division world champion Roy Jones Jr.

That contest generated huge numbers on pay-per-view. The event reportedly generated between 1.5 to 1.6 million purchases.

In 1996, Holyfield pulled off a huge upset when he stopped Tyson in ten rounds to capture the heavyweight crown. Their 1997 rematch continues to create chatter - with Tyson being disqualified in three rounds for biting off a piece of Holyfield's ear.

After watching the tremendous success of Tyson-Jones, it didn't take long before Holyfield challenged Tyson to a trilogy bout.

If that contest takes place, Evan Holyfield is backing his dad to win big.

"My dad's lookin' pretty swole right now," Evan Holyfield told TMZ ... "I know he's been training this whole time, even before the whole thing, so I'm pretty excited to see what happens.

"I don't expect him to lose. The first two [fights] went a certain way and I feel like the third -- I know it's all for good sport and for charity and stuff at the end of the day -- but I don't plan on seeing my dad getting beat up."

Evan, who takes part in his fifth pro fight on December 12 against Donnis Reed, is hoping to fight on the undercard of a potential Tyson-Holyfield showdown.

"At the end of the day, that Roy Jones vs. Mike Tyson fight was pretty historical and I feel like it would be pretty important to me to be part of a historical moment along with my father," Evan Holyfield said.
