EBU welterweight champion David Avanesyan (27-3-1) has Englishman Liam Taylor (22-1-1) as mandatory challenger. The EBU has set July 21 as the deadline for purse bids.

Avanesyan hails from Russia but is based in England and has made three successful defenses of the title. 


EU super welterweight champ Marten Arsumanjan (11-1-2) was lucky to escape with a draw against Thomas Piccirillo last time out. Coming up is a defense against Austrian Marcos Nader (23-1-1) September 4 in Vienna. Nader is 5-0 since returning to the profs after a spell back in amateur boxing.


Swedish light heavyweight Oscar Ahlin (21-2) takes on Ricky Summers (17-3-1) on August 29 in Brussels. Belgium, with the vacant WBA Continental title at stake. Ahiln, 8-0 since losing to Patrick Mendy in 2016, won the vacant IBO Cont'l belt in his last fight.

Only O1ne Boxing Management promotes the show that was first set to go ahead in Spain.


Sergio "Maravilla" Martinez (53-3-2) continues his comeback September 18  in Valdemoro when he takes on former world title challenger Brian Rose (32-6-1). 

This is the third fight for Martinez on his comeback and Rose is his best opponent yet. 

In the headliner of this Maravilla Box promotion Angel Moreno (21-4-2) and Juan Hinostroza (10-9-1) clash for the vacant EBU flyweight title.
