The Nordic Nightmare, heavyweight Robert Helenius, still hasen´t had any fight confirmed but he continues to work out hard at his gym in Mariehamn (Finland) and is currently sparring with the Icelandic Polar Bear, Gunnar Kolbeinn Kristinsson.

News on Helenius´ next fight is expected soon but is must be said that has been the case for some time now.

His last fight was against Erkan Teper and Robert put new life into his career with an impressive knockout win.

Super lightweights Enock Poulsen (10-0) and Michal Syrowatka (20-2) will clash for the vacant EU title some time in May in Denmark on a Danish Fight Night promotion. Exact date and site will be announced soon.

Syrowatka has only lost to newly crowned EBU champ Robbie Davies Jr and Rafal Jackiewicz - and holds wins over both as well. He comes in for Frenchman Yazid Amghar, who is not available right now but is the man the winner of Poulsen vs Syrowatka will get as mandatory challenger.

42-year old heavyweight Attila Levin (34-4) returns as previously reported on April 19 in a four-rounder on a big mixed boxing and partial arts show in Gothenburg (Sweden). Levin will take on Greek Marios Kollias (5-1-1) who is relatively green. Levin was last seen in 2010 when he lost to Robert Helenius.

Heavyweights Ali Eren Demirezen (10-0) and Adnan Redzovic (19-2) fight for the vacant WBO Euro title on Saturday (April 6) in Usti nad Labem (Czech Republic).

Demirezen is signed to EC Boxing in Hamburg but this show is promoted by SES Czech Republic and headlined by WBC female minimiweight queen Fabiana Bytyqi, who takes on Maria Vargas. In the third headliner heavyweight Tomas Salek (9-0) challenges national champ Pavel Sour (10-1).

Frenchman Vincent Legrand (29-0) have relinquished the EBU flyweight title to move up in weight. This means that his mandatory defence against Jay Harris (15-0) that was set for June 7 in Cardiff (Wales) is off.
