Comebacking Danish cruiser Ditlev Rossing (14-0) will now fight Bosnian Elvis Smajlovic (16-13-2) on October 1 in Kolding, Denmark. Rossing, in his first fight for two and a half years, was first lined to up to fight Venezuelan veteran Gusmyr Perdomo but he was stopped in his last fight only three weeks ago.

In the headliner super middle prospect Jakob Bank (7-0) takes on German Rafael Bejaran (30-7-1).

Ghanian boxer Prince Amartey passed away on September 23, reports BoxingGhana on Twitter at the age of 78. Amartey won a bronze medal in the 1972 Olympics at middleweight (75 kg in those days). He beat Dane Poul Knudsen but lost to Finland's Reima Virtanen.

Prince Amartey was in the military forces back then but had a tough life after being fired in 1975 to what on Wikipedia is described as mental problems.

WBC, WBO, IBO and now also IBF female featherweight champion Amanda Serrano (43-1-1) has an offer from Denmark for 125,000 USD to fight WBO bantamweight title holder Dina Thorslund (18-0), reports knock-out.dk.

Outside of losing controversially to Katie Taylor the other loss on Serrano's record was in Sweden to Frida Wallberg back in 2012

The fight for the vacant EBU light heavyweight title between England's Callum Johnson (20-1) and Frenchman Thomas Faure (21-4-1) will go ahead either December 3 or December 10 in the UK on a Queensberry promotion.

Faure previously held the French and EU titles but has never fought at this level before. Johnson's last fight dates well over a year back but he pulled out of a fight against Igor Mikhalkin that was set for July 2 just days before the fight due to an undisclosed injury.

The title was left vacant by Mathieu Bauderlique.
