36-year old Russian based in Spain lightweight/super lightweight Petr "Czar" Petrov (38-6-2) continues his comeback with an eight rounder on March 23 in Albacete against Venezuelan Hermin Isava (10-18), reports Espabox.

Former two-time EBU heavyweight Steffen Tangstad, who fought Michael Spinks for the IBF title in 1986, is hospitalized and had to have his left leg amputated. Tangstad, who turns 60 this year, suffers from a rare nerve disease called polyneuropathy . Doctors are not sure what exactly caused this disease and there appears to be many contributing factors but boxing is said not to be among them.

The Spinks fight was Tangstad´s last but the official retirement came two years later. He then ventured into TV as a host and commentator and later filled the controversial role of both promoter, buyer and seller of TV rights and commentator - a business adventure that came to an end in 2004.
