Universum had a full house (12,000 spectators) at the Rudolf Weber Arena in Oberhausen last night (Nov 5) but unfortunately most came to watch two fights between famous influencers and Youtubers.

In real boxing, heavyweights Zhan Khossobutskiy (19-0) and Mourad Aliev (6-0) both won easily against overmatched opponents. Khossobutskiy stopped Hussein Muhamed (17-1) in the third and retained the WBC International title while Aliev TKO'd veteran Yakup Saglam (46-8)in the fifth round and won the vacant WBC Mediterranean belt.

The third heavyweight fight on the bill, Jose Larduet vs Ali Kiydin for the WBC Int'l Silver belt was cancelled.

Lightweight prospect Dzmitry Asanau (5-0) showed amazing skills as he outscored a tough opponent in Ramiro Blanco (18-16-3) - but he also showed that he couldn't hurt his opponent.

In Hamburg P2M Boxen staged its inaugural show and almost all went well. Nina Meinke (15-3) and Dilar Kisikyol (8-0) both won vacant WIBF titles at featherweight and lightweight respectively. Meinke outscored Edith Soledad Matthysse (17-13-1) while Kisikyol beat Eva Hubmayer (5-3) on points.

However, heavyweight prospect, German champ and mandatory challenger for the EBU title, Peter Kadiru (now 14-1), was knocked out in the very first round against unheralded Marcos Antonio Ahumada (24-11) and that was a major setback as this was his first fight for his new promoter.

Polish light heavyweight Pawel Czyzyk (10-1) outscored Dragan Lepei  (21-6-2) over ten and won the vacant IBO Int'l and WBA Continental titles.

In the chief support Cuban super middleweight Ihosvany Rafael Garcia (9-0) knocked out Mirsac Cebo (17-3) in the first round of a mismatch despite the records.

It will be Dutchman Stephen Danyo (20-5-3) that replaces the injured Abass Baraou and challenge Milan Prat (17-0) for the vacant EBU super welter title on November 19 in Creteil (France).

Newly crowned EBU featherweight king Kiko Martinez (44-11-2) has Italian Mauro Forte (17-0-2) as mandatory challenger and December 1 is the deadline for purse bids.

However, it's very likely that Martinez has his eyes on another world title fight.
