According to Danish paper Ekstrabladet it´s a done deal that former WBA super middleweight title challenger Patrick Nielsen and Mark Madsen will clash in a MMA fight later this spring.

Nielsen´s payday is according to EB as high as one million Danish kronas (about $150,000 USD) - a high amount of money for a beginner at mixed martial arts, and someone who has lost his last two fights in a boxing ring.

As for Madsen he is a former Olympic wrestler and an established MMA participant. It will be the Nent Entertainment Group (a/k/a Viasat that televise the event which is expected to be available on PPV only.

German heavyweight prospect Peter Kadiru (1-0) has his next fight on Saturday (April 13) in Halle / Saale and take on fellow German Vincenzo Febbo (3-0). Kadiru is promoted by SES and managed by Bernd Boente.

Headlining the Halle show is EBU lightheavy champ Dominic Boesel, who defends the title against Albanian-Italian Orial Kolaj.

EBU news: Russian cruiserweight Dmitry Kudryashov (23-2) is the new mandatory challenger for champ Yves Ngabu (20-0) from Belgium, The parties are now free to enter negotiations.

Belgian heavyweight Hervé Hubeaux (30-3) is the new mandatory challenger for the vacant EU title along with Petar Milas (16-0). Deadline for purse bids or agreements is May 8.
