Danish super middleweight Patrick Nielsen, 29-3, has signed with Peder Forsmnan´s Sports Management and the debut for his new promoter is set for May 25 in Aarhus.

Nielsen lost a close, disputed decision to Arthur Abraham in April of 2018 and has been inactive since then and there have been talks of a rematch but the fight never materialized.

Nielsen was promoted by Team Sauerland for most of his career but became a freelancer after losing to John Ryder late 2017.

Peder Forsman manages a growing stable of fighters including WBO female 122 lb champ Dina Thorslund and stage his inaugural show this weekend in Ringkobing with middleweight Mikkel Nielsen, 7-0, on top of a bill that also includes Abdul Khattab, 16-2-1, Madi Jallaw, 0-1, Oliver Mollenberg, 1-0 and Alicia Holzken, 2-0

- Fake news, said Robert Helenius´ manager Markus Sundman of reports on various sites that the Nordic Nightmare would be the opponent for Oleksandr Usyk´s heavyweight debut May 18 in Chicago. Sundman also stated there would be something real to write about very soon.

-We have a few ongoing negotiations including one for a fight against Artur Beterbiev, comments EC Boxing promoter Erol Ceylan, regarding reports about a possible fight between IBF light heavyweight champ Artur Beterbiev and the EC promoted IBO ruler Sven Fornling. According to Mike Coppinger on Twitter Fornling is the likely opponent for Beterbiev on May 4 in Stockton, CA.

Heavyweights Petar Milas, 13-0, from Croatia and Frenchman Cyril Leonet, 15-10-3, clash for the vacant EU title April 6 in Munich, Germany. The fight is promoted by Petko´s Boxing Promotions, who won purse bids.

Swedish super featherweight Redouane Kaya, 7-0, is off the show in Uppsala March 30. Next up for Kaya is a fight in the UK on the undercard to Tommy Frank vs Luke Wilton March 15 in Sheffield. Kaya is currently in training champ in Sheffield with Richard Towers as coach.
