Newly crowned EBU light heavyweight champion Karo Murat could, according to BILD, make his first defence of the title against the man he just beat to win the title, Dominic Boesel.

SES have an option on a rematch and if Boesel wants it the fight could happen this fall.

The mandatory challenger is Robert Stieglietz, who is officially retired, but as the EBU don´t have any official information about that he remains in that position.

The EBU cruiserweight title will remain in Belgium for at least the rest of this year.

Newly crowned champion Yves Ngabu will make a voluntary defence of the title September 29 or 30 in Schotte against Bilal Laggoune in an all Belgian matchup. The winner then have to face mandatory challenger Geoffrey Batello, who is also Belgian.

Moroccan welterweight prospect Mohammed Rabii, 3-0, has signed a promotional deal with SES in Germany. Rabii won a bronze medal in the 2016 Rio Olympics and also fought in the World Series of Boxing but made his "real" professional debut earlier this year.

Frenchman Cedric Vitu has relinquished the EBU 154 lb title to concentrate on a world title shot. Vitu stopped Italian Marcello Matano in a final IBF eliminator in May. Co-challengers for the EBU title are Orlando Fiordigiglio and Zakaria Attou.
