Big heavyweight Mourad Aliev, who made headlines for his "strike" in the Olympics after getting DQ'd against Frazer Clarke, will make his pro debut November 20 in Hamburg. Opponent is to be announced.

Aliev, who represented France as an amateur, recently signed with Ahmet Oner.

This Universum Box Promotion show is billed as "The Return of the Heavyweights". The show is headlined by Jose Larduet, who defends the WBC Latin title against Daniel Robutti.

Swiss super lightweight Alain Chervet (16-2-2) comes back December 26 on the annual Boxing Day show in Bern after two years out against an opponent to be announced.  

Chervet will for this fight be trained by Cuban Pedro Diaz, who will spend five weeks in Switzerland.

French heavyweight Johann Duhaupas (38-6) is set to return November 13 on a show in Dudelange, Luxembourg. Opponent is to be announced.

In Duhaupas'  last fight he was surprisingly stopped in the very first round against Tony Yoka. That was last year and Johan turned 40 in February.

There will be purse bids on November 2 for IBF female featherweight champion Sarah Mahfoud's mandatory defense against German Nina Meinke (12-2).

Mahfoud (10-0) is still scheduled to take on Mayeli Flores (7-0-1) on November 6 in Brondby, Denmark.
