Promoter Mogens Palle and Danish Fight Night won the purse bid today in Rome for Sandor Martin´s defence of the EBU super lightweight title against Danish challenger Enock Poulsen. Palle bid 55,555 euro while Spanish Boxing Star finished second with a bid for 20,000.

When and where is to be announced - but the question is if Martin (36-2) is interested in a defence abroad against a dangerous challenger like Poulsen (11-0).

As previously reported Emre Cukur lost to Davide Faraci this past weekend and that cost him a fight for the vacant EBU super middle title against David De Carolis. New official co-challenger is no other than Tyron Zeuge, who has relinquished the EU title and his fight against Dragan Lepei March 21 is off.

The EBU have set February 24 as deadline for purse bids agreements.

Zeuge is 1-0-1 against De Carolis but back then (2016-17) it was for the WBA title and it was quite an upset when De Carolis held Zeuge to a draw in their first fight.

It´s official: WBA interim and IBO light heavy champion Dominic Boesel (30-1) defends the titles against Australian challenger Zac Dunn (29-1) March 28 at the Getec Arena (formerly known as the Boerdeland Halle) in Magdeburg.

Heavyweights Agit Kabayel (22-2 or 19-0) and Peter Kadiru (7-0) are featured on the undercard.

The main fights are televised by ARD, "Das Erste". Promoter Ulf Steinforth stated in a press conference yesterday that SES now have entered the Champion´s League as far as TV coverage goes.

Dunn holds the WBA Oceania title at super middleweight and is ranked # 12 by the WBA at 175.

We have a fight: The Martial Arts Delegation, MAD, in Sweden have approved Samo Jangirov´s defence of the national title against Marcus Alberts for 8x3 February 22 in Katrineholm. The first fight between these two brawlers was won by Jangirov (4-2-1) in a six-rounder that was a fight of the year candidate.. Alberts is 6-5-1.
